Need Mechanic/parts in Colorado springs!

I'm a transplanted Northern California girl living in the Volkswagenless area of Colorado Springs. I'm on my 13th VW, a "68"? bug, with a crazy mixture of parts on it. I'd like to find people here to network with in order to find a mechanic and to find a good used parts source. I was hoping for a carshow every once and awhile??? Any Coloradans out there?? I've been here 9 years so please don't hold the Cali thing against me. My Violet needs the love of a good mechanic. I rescued her from a teenage boy Forgive me if this post comes out looking weird.
