Newbee lookin for bug

not looking for one that is done, just one i can afford. Looking to spend around $800 for a good body and a rebuildable engine. Would like a 72. I am located in tn 37129. Thanks for any help.

I saw your ad for wanting a 1972 I have a 1973 for sale. It is only a 1973 according to the US it is a '72 according to it VIN. I know you posted this want ad about 7 months ago, but I thought that I would reply and see what happens I will keep looking here to see if you reply or you could give me an email @ hotvw1973@hotmail.com just put VW for sale in your subject line.
